 The Mission
The mission of Ride Alive 3000km CHARITY CYCLE is to promote awareness for abuse in its various forms - child abuse; physical, mental and psychological abuse through progressive ideas and actions; to include charity, educating the public, and combining both national and international resources in a unified effort to prevent abuse. Finally to open a forum and build a community on which discussion can occur on the issues of abuse.
About Us
 We are a grassroots anti-abuse group with an optimistic and down to earth approach to one of our last "taboo" subjects. Feel free to look at the story of how the group was created, talk in our discussion boards, send e-mails, and be apart of a unique community for dealing with the issue of abuse and how to prevent it. In a nutshell we think the only limits in life are those placed on ourselves and that we all need to get out there and find what we love and do it! Also, for those of you interested in our trip from Cape Town to Gaborone, we leave 15 March, we have information about the trip on our upcoming, soon to be released, dynamic website also. Finally, welcome to the new revolution and thank you for your continued interest in our cause and support!

Q: Why abuse prevention and awareness?
A: A lot of families are torn apart by abuse, and many people live an unfulfilled life because they choose to live in an environment that is not healthy to themselves and their loved ones.
 Q: When are you going to do this?
A: We leave from Cape Town on March 15th.
Q: How can I help?
A: There are many ways to help! You can donate, buy Ride Alive Gear, post your story in the forums and discuss the issue, participate in various contests we will be holding, attend the RIDE ALIVE Concert - watch press for details, or contact www.abuseisnoexcuse.co.za for further contact details.
 Q: This really looks cool. Can I join you?
A: You are welcome to ride with me, but just not officially as "Ride Alive", and you need to be aware of risks involved. We recommend start spreading the word. That will make funds, contact with us, and linking up with us will be alot easier for you. More details about this issue will be posted as they come!
 Q: Do you have any Ride Alive kit or wear that we can buy? And if so, what is it?
A: T-shirts, wrist bands, caps and mugs.
Q: Where is my money going when I donate?
A: The funds you donate will go towards accomplishing the trip (in a safe fashion) and all funds in excess of this will be used for charitable purposes as pertains to efforts towards abuse prevention. We are looking at donating funds to established abuse awareness and prevention programs with professional assistance programs.

A: Yes, most certainly, we are looking approaching national radio stations throughout South Africa for coverage of our cause. On the go video coverage and photographs will be posted everyday, so you can see our progress.
