It is that time of the year again when hopefully all South Africans will sit up and be aware that ABUSE continues 365 days of the year. Roughly every 6 minutes a women in South Africa is being beaten by the man who says he loves her. We know this subject is depressing and we know that life goes on for most of us, but if there is one thing you can do to help us continue in this work just pay attention during this time and reach out to those who need your help.  Let our hearts not grow cold to the plight of others, when we are happy.

Some suggestions:

1.       Time to get rid of the things you don’t need, then have a good clean up and pass on all those items to a shelter.

2.       Get together with a group of friends over lunch, share a glass of wine and ask for a donation from everyone.

3.       Meet with all your friends to collect all your unwanted clothes etc and take them to a shelter. Put your compassion in action.
