Our Earth Angel Network is GROWING!!!
To be an 'ANGEL' means availing your time and expertise to helping others.
You do not need to be a qualified counselor or psychologist to help others, sometimes just being there to listen is enough to help someone.
Many people contact us asking how they can help, as earth angels.
One of the most important things we need right now are
FUND RAISERS:
1. Do you have a circle of influence, to be able to approach a sponsor for this organisation.
2. Are you willing to host an event for the purpose of raising funds.
3. Would you like to sponsor this organization as a Corporate sponsor or as a private individual.
4. Are you able to organise a function at a school, sports club etc a fete, fashion show, raffle.
5. Do you have a data base that we could contact with information about the organisation.
We boast a growing number of Angels who are there to help abuse victims and their families, around the country. Please, even if all you are able to do is listen to someone, contact us, get involved, help someone get their life back on track.
We can currently offer assistance to those in need in Gauteng, East London, Queenstown, and Cape Town. When you contact us please specify from the list below which services you can help us with.
The Two areas our Angels can help in.
Help with the running of PAINE:
- by setting up workshops
- joining in marathons
- participating / organising in fun days
- finding sponsors or being a sponsor
- promote the PAINE website
Help abuse victims:
- Support victims of abuse via email
- Support through telephonic conversation (the abuse victim will set up a convenient time to phone you, you would not contact the victim yourself.)
- Be available to the victim in an emergency via telephone
